A shopkeeper buys an article at a discount of 20% from a wholesaler, the printed price being  4,000. If the transaction is intra-state and the rate of GST is 12%, find the price of the article inclusive of GST at which the shopkeeper bought it.

Discount provided is 20%
Discount amount on printed price = 20% of 4000=20/100 x 4000=Rs. 800
Cost price for the article = Rs. 3200
G S T equals 12 percent sign space o f space 3200 equals 12 over 100 cross times 3200 equals R s. space 384 P r i c e space o f space t h e space a r t i c l e space i n c l u d i n g space G S T space equals space 3200 plus 384 equals R s. space 3584
