CBSE Class 11-science Answered

a body of mass m is moving in a circle of radius r with uniform speed v .force on body is mv^2/r and directed towards centre.what is the Workdone in moving body over half the circumference of circle

Dear student
Since the body is in circular motion, the centripetal force (mv2 /r) is directed towards the centre and at any point it is perpendicular to the displacement.
Hence, the work done in moving the body over hajf the circumference of the circle is zero
Hope this helps.
