CBSE Class 11-science Answered
Can you tell an example about a body having 0 velocity and still accelerating?

This condition can be observed when the acceleration and velocity are in opposite directions to each other. When a ball is thrown vertically upward, acceleration due to gravity acts downwards. When the ball is at the maximum height of its flight, its velocity is zero but it accelerates due to the acceleration due to gravity acting on it.
