Hi Riya!

Newton;s Third Law of Motion states that Every action has an equal (in magnitude) and opposite (in direction) reaction.

The following are its consequences:

  1. Cricket bowling: When the bowler bowls the ball to the batsman, the ball bounces with an intensity equal to the intensity at which the ball was thrown.

  2. Swimming: The speed of the swimmer (in forward direction) is equal to the energy which he applies backward with his/her limbs.

  3. Aircraft take-off or rocket launch : The engine propellers of the aircraft apply the force in the opposite direction to the desired direction of the force.
