Let the two forces be A and B respectively.
.....(Given)
Let A = 3x and B = 5x
Using cosine law, we get,
...(The resultant force is 20 N)
20 = 7x
Thus,
x =20/7 = 2.85
Thus,
A = 3x = 3 x 2.85 = 8.55 N
B = 5x = 5 x 2.85 = 14.25 N
