ICSE Class 10 Answered
Solving numericals needs a certain level of dedication and hardwork.
If you have identified that your score goes down because of numericals then that is the area on which you should devote maximum amount of time.
Following tips can be employed for all the chapters:
1) Study the formulae and laws of a chapter thoroughly before starting the problems.
2) Go through different types of solved problems and analyse how these are solved in the book.
3) Take up practice problems from any book (multiple books) and try and solve all the problems. If you get stuck at a step then you can refer the book, and slowly and steadily you will get a hang of it.
4) Read the question properly (be it calorimetry, optics, or any other chapter) and understand what it asks to find.
5) Solve as many problems from the past year papers as you can.
With proper hardwork you will be able to attain confidence and expertise in solving numericals.
