sir, is there any situation where the kinetic energy of a body is equal to its potential energy? if yes give an example of such a situation and justify it.

Hi Adithya,

There is no situation where the kinetic energy of a body is equal to its potential energy. 

When an object is falling through a certain height h, then there is loss in its potential energy and gain in its kinetic energy.

Hence, we can say, loss in potential energy = gain in kinetic energy
