Potential energy of 3kg body on a planet is -54j then escape velocity will be??

Escape velocity is minimum velocity require to escape from gravitational field of a planet.
So in this case if the object want to escape it must have kinetic energy at least equal to this potential energy
 So
 54 = 1/2×m×v^2
v2fraction numerator 54 cross times 2 over denominator 3 end fraction equals 36
v = √36 = 6ms-1
