Let T1 and T2 be the tensions in the left side and right side strings respectively.
Tension forces are resolved in vertical and horizontal components as sown in figure.
 
we have,  0.6 T1 = 0.8 T2   or   T2 = 0.75 T1  .......................(1)
 
by taking moment about centre of gravity,
 
( 0.8 T1 )× d  = ( 0.6 T2 ) × (2-d)
 
By using substitution (1), we get,   ( 0.8 T1 )× d  = ( 0.6 × 0.75 T1 ) × (2-d)
 
16 d = 9× (2-d)   or  d = 0.72 m
