After closing the switch, both capacitors are in series, hence equivalent capacitance becomes 0.5 μf .
 
Hence charge on each capcitor will be ( 10 V × 0.5 μf ) = 5 μC.
 
Hence C1 has already 10 μC , charge of 5 μC will pass through battery to charge other capacitor C2
 
Hence wrokdone by battery = 5 μC × 10 V = 50 μJ
