Hello sir,
Which would have greater effect on kinetic energy of an object ? Whether doubling the mass of the object or doubling the velocity of the object ?
plesae explain me the above question briefly.

Expert Answer
Kinetic energy, K = (1/2)m×v2 ................(1)
m is mass and v is velocity.
if we double the mass, Kinetic energy = (1/2)×2m×v2 = 2K
if we double the velocity, Kinetic energy = (1/2)×m×(2v)2 = 4K
Hence doubling the velocity is getting greater effect, because kinetic energy becomes 4 times of its initial value
