As per the early accounts , Newton was inspired to make the connection between falling bodies and astronomical motions when he saw an apple fall from a tree and realized that if the gravitational force could extend above the ground to a tree, it might also reach the Sun. Many observation witnessed by us today are the example of Newton's laws of gravitation like when we throw the ball in upward direction it travels quickly in the begning but the speed decreases gradually and after a particular point it stops and and starts to fall in reverse direction. This happens because of the force of gravity that acts on the objects which are placed near the surface of earth.
