Does mediums like Aqueous humour ,vitreous humour play any role in in obtaining image on retina,as there has to be refraction as light passes from one medium to another...or they help only in keeping eyes wet and maintaining shape of an eye respectively??
The vitreous humour is a transparent jelly-like mass located behind the lens. it acts as a "suspension" for the lens so that the delicate lens is not damaged. it helps to maintain the shape of the posterior chamber of the eyeball.
