a) According to John Clerk Maxwell, electric field and magnetic fieldstravel through space as wave and at a speed of light. He propsed the theory which state that light is undulation in same mediumthat is cause of magnetic and electric phenomena. This theroy is commonly known as Maxwell's electromagnetic theory.
b) Snell's law is applicable only to refracting surfaces.
