CBSE Class 11-science Answered

Dear, It is given that...lesser the wavelenth is....higher the intensity will be. But we know that lesser wavelength means higher frequency. So my douybt is....why it is that "The no.of electrons ejected per second from the metal surface depend upon the intensity of incident radiation but does not depend upon its frequency"? (acc to photoelectronic effect) WHY? Pls clarify,

Intensity is related to number of electrons per unit time but frequency for electrons is change of direction of electrons at per unit time. These two are different variables.
