Density ρs of stone is assumed as 1600 kg/m3

workdone = force × distance

force in the above equation is resultant of gravitational force and bouyancy force.

Volume V of stone,  V  = mass/dnsity = 6/1600 = 3.75×10-3 m3

net force = V( ρs - ρw ) g

where ρw is density of water

Workdone = V( ρs - ρw ) g × h   = 3.75 × 10-3 ( 1600 - 1000 ) × 9.8 × 3 = 66.15 J
