Area of a sphere in vector form is an example of null vector. Why?

By convention,  Area vector is considered as normal to the given surface area.
Magnitude is the geometrical area and direction is normal to the surface.
 
If we consider a spherical surface, for every small surface area  has area vector normal to the sphere but at same time
there is exactly at opposite direction we have similar area vector that has same magnitude but opposite in sign.
If we divide the whole surface area of spheres into small area and assign the vector to each area,
then the resultant of all vectors is zero.
