acceleration a is obtained from,  v = u+a×t  ...................(1)
where v is final speed, u is initial speed and t is time to change speed.
 
hence acceleration a = ( v-u)/t  = (16 - 6 ) / 10 = 1 m/s2
 
distance S = ut + (1/2)a t2 = (6×10) +(1/2)×1×10×10 = 210 m
