What Is the Full Form of the CBSE Board?

The CBSE full form is the Central Board of Secondary Education. It is an Indian national-level education board for public and private schools. The CBSE is regulated and operated by the Indian Union Government. All the schools affiliated under CBSE need to follow the NCERT syllabus for providing education and conducting examinations. Presently there are 26,384 CBSE affiliated schools in India.

CBSE Full Form In English And Its History 

●       The Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education was the first educational board established in 1921 under the Rajputana, Gwalior and Central India.

●       In 1929 the Indian government established a common Board named Board of High School and Intermediate Education.

●       In 1952, this board became CBSE.
