UGC sanctions Rs. 185 lakh to Aligarh Muslim University

University Grants Commission sanctioned Rs 185 lakh to Aligarh Muslim University as the University officials wanted to start a bachelor’s degree course in vocational training. Further, UGC also sanctioned Rs 81 lakh for advanced diploma in Computerised Shoe Designing.

UGC was set up by the Union Government in 1956 and has established around 102 community colleges for the benefit of learners and communities.
