Wondering about how to prepare for the Olympiad exams? Well, all you need is a bit of planning and practice to score high in the Olympiad exams. Here are some important tips which you should keep in mind while preparing for the exam.

Stick to the Syllabus: The Olympiad exams are a means to test your logical reasoning and analytical skills. The syllabus is designed in a way that it motivates students to learn about Science, Mathematics and English. Therefore, it is important that you go through the Olympiad syllabus thoroughly and then plan your preparations.

Study your Textbooks: Be thorough with your class materials and NCERT textbooks. Strengthen your basics. If you know your concepts well, you can answer any question, howsoever twisted it is.

Sample Papers: Practice will prepare you better for the Olympiad exams. Practising sample papers will give you an idea of what kinds of questions are asked in the Olympiad exams.

Stay Informed: Stay informed and be vigilant about what is happening around the world. Practise quizzes and puzzles as this will help you think out of the box. Focus on learning scientific facts and strengthen your vocabulary. The Olympiad exam is all about testing your knowledge in Science, Mathematics and English.

Start your Preparations in Advance: If you really want to crack the Olympiad exam, then last-minute preparations will not help. Start preparing in advance. Follow a systematic approach. Start with the topics which require more time and then go on to less time-consuming topics.

Put the Internet to Better Use:  There are abundant online resources available on the Internet, so why not use the Internet to your advantage? You can begin by solving mock tests and complicated Mathematics problems.
