NEET Full Form - Learn About the Exam's History

The NEET exam full form is - National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. This entrance exam was first recommended in 2012, beginning in 2013. However, the Medical Council of India and CBSE postponed it for a year for various reasons. The NEET exam was scheduled to hold for the first time across the country on May 5, 2013, for potential candidates seeking undergraduate and postgraduate medicine admission.

Over ten lakh students had registered for the first-ever medical examination. On July 18, 2013, the Supreme Court decided to aid 115 petitions, cancelling the NEET exam and declaring that MCI could not alter college admissions.

Several states, including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu, strongly opposed the exam, citing wide variations in the syllabus. Consequently, the Supreme Court of India declared the NEET exam unconstitutional in 2012. It was, however, brought back on April 11, 2016.

What is the Full Form of the NEET Exam? The answer is National Eligibility and Entrance Test.

Things to Consider Before Taking the NEET Exam

The following are among the most valuable aspects to know before taking the NEET exam.

●       The NEET-UG full form is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. This exam is simple enough for even the most inexperienced student to pass. However, even the best performers can screw up because of improper time management.

●       The medical course is extensive, with approximately 19 subjects and numerous books per subject in the MBBS. As a result, students should choose this field only if they are extremely interested.

●       Chemistry and Physics are important subjects in the NEET exam; students cannot pass the exam by only studying biology. Even a strong background in chemistry and biology is insufficient. To pass the NEET full form exam, you must be extremely well prepared in all three subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

These are a few things that need to be considered while attempting the NEET exam. Students should use the best study materials and take mock tests to prepare for exams.
