Children's Day Essay: Children's Day, also known as Bal Divas in India. Each year on the 14th of November, we acknowledge Children's Day. We embrace this because it's the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister. His bond and affection for children were iconic.

All political parties pay their respects to Nehruji at his ShantiVan commemoration in New Delhi.

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was a great Indian freedom fighter, a great leader and a poet. "Glimpses of World History" is one of his most well-known works. Pandit Nehru was born in Allahabad on the 14th of November, 1889. He was the son of Mr Motilal Nehru, a prominent lawyer, and Mrs Swarup Rani Nehru. He completed college in England and fought for India's independence upon returning to India. The 14th of November is recalled as a Speech on Children's Day in his unforgettable memories.

Today, our country's children are battling basic education and health care. Besides this, many of these children work in dangerous industries such as matchbox making, bangle making, precious stone cutting, etc. 

We are putting our children's and our futures at risk by our own hands, and we need to make an effort to end child labour and make primary education available to all children. Only by making a concerted effort to combat this darkness, we can make our country productive, as Nehruji, Mahatma Gandhi, and other leaders imagined.
