As per the announcement, registration began on December 15, 2022. The JEE Main will be held in two sessions for the academic session of 2023-24. The dates of the first session have been released, and the dates for the second session will be announced shortly. Here are the important dates for JEE Main 2023 examination:

JEE Main 2023: Step-by-step Registration Process
First-time JEE applicants must register on the official website of NTA JEE before starting their application process. Registered applicants can directly proceed with the application process with their old credentials.
Follow these steps and complete your registration for JEE Main Exam in no time!
● Visit NTA JEE’s official website.
● Locate the section of ‘Candidate Activity’ and click on ‘JEE (Main) 2023 Session 1 Application’. It will redirect you to a new page.
● Click on ‘New Registration’ on the new page.
● The screen will display instructions and Information Bulletin on how to fill up the registration form. Read all the instructions carefully.
● Tap on ‘Click here to Proceed’ to land on the registration page.
● Enter all the required personal and contact details.
● Choose your password, followed by a security question and answer.
● Once all details have been entered, click on ‘Submit’.
● The confirmation page will appear. Verify all your details and click on the checklist boxes.
● Click on ‘Final Submit’ to complete the registration process.

Applicants will need to enter the following personal details during their JEE registration.
● Applicant’s name
● Applicant’s date of birth
● Mother’s name
● Father’s name
● Applicant’s gender
● Identity type (Passport, PAN card, Ration Card with photograph, driving license, bank passbook with photograph, any qualifying examination admit card with photograph, or any Govt. identity card with a photograph)

Password Specifications Required for JEE Registration Process
Follow these instructions while choosing your password.
● The password must include 8 to 13 characters.
● It should have one numeric character, one upper case and one lower case alphabet.
● It must have one special character.
JEE Main 2023: Important Instructions for Registration Process
After the registration is complete, the applicants can fill up the application form and pay the fees to complete their application process. NTA has given some instructions to follow during the registration and application process.
● Only online applications made through NTA JEE’s official website will be accepted.
● One applicant can submit no more than one application. If the same applicant has made more than one application, there will be strict actions.
● The application will be disqualified if instructions presented in the Information Bulletin and NTA’s website are not followed accurately.
● NTA will communicate with the application via SMS on the registered contact numbers and mail at the registered email address. Make sure to provide a valid contact number and email address during registration.
