ShareAs you may already know, JEE Main is the principal engineering entrance exam for admission to Top Engineering Colleges in India for B.TECH/B.E and B.ARCH/B.Planning courses. It is conducted in all major cities in India and in 10 countries overseas. Till 2018 JEE Main has been conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). But, from 2019 onward JEE Main will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Not only that, from now on the JEE Main exam will be conducted twice a year in the months of January and April.
The exams will be conducted in online mode twice a year from 2019 onwards. There has been no sudden or drastic updates about change in syllabus, question format, language or exam fees from either NTA or CBSE (the body that has been holding JEE Mains till the last year). It is safe to assume that no abrupt changes will be declared, as both CBSE and NTA are responsible exam bodies and won’t cause unnecessary inconvenience to the students appearing for JEE Main 2019.
