JEE Advanced to have Subjective Questions from 2017
JEE Advanced is likely to include subjective type questions from 2017.
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is likely to include subjective type questions from 2017. The Joint Admission Board (JAB) of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has considered including the section from 2017.
Thus, Class 12 students who are aspiring to appear in the JEE Advanced are expected to prepare themselves for subjective questions.
At present, the JEE Advanced paper is based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs) only. With the addition of subjective questions, students can be tested on the competency acquired on the subject. Moreover, having more questions with negative marks and a 2-mark penalty for every incorrect answer has limited the amount of guesswork on the part of students.
