CBSE Issues Dress Code for AIPMT

The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued dress code guidelines for the upcoming All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT). This drastic step has been taken because there was mass cheating the previous time the test was conducted. Students have a tendency to hide papers in their clothes which makes it difficult for the invigilator to check.

Candidates answering the test will have to wear sleeve shirts or kurtas and trousers. Also, religious elements such as pendants and kadhas would not be allowed. No concession for girls as well – no nose rings, earrings, brooches, necklaces and pendants. All accessories have been banned while giving the test, and shoes will not be allowed in the exam hall.

With more than 6.3 lakh candidates competing for 3,800 seats this time, the AIPMT is going to be tougher for students who cheat!
