Chapter wise Important Concepts:

 Arithmetic progression:

 - Problems involving n^th term of an A.P. and sum of ‘n’ terms of an A.P.

Quadratic Equations:

 - Finding roots of a quadratic equation by different methods.

- Problems involving elation between discriminant and nature of roots.

Coordinate Geometry:

 - Distance formula, section formula and area of a triangle formula.

Areas related to circles:

 - Finding area of sectors and segments of a circle.

Surface areas and Volumes:

 - Problems involving surface areas and volumes of cubes, cuboids, spheres, cylinders or cones.

- Problems involving melting and converting one type of solid to another.

Probability:

 - Probability problems involving cards, dices, tossing of coins etc.

- Finding total number of outcomes and favourable number of outcomes for different events.

Circles:

 - Proof of theorems on property of tangent and length of tangent drawn from an external point to a circle.

- Problems involving tangents, chords and radii of a circle

Constructions:

 - Construction of tangent to a circle from a point outside it.

- Construction of similar triangles.

Heights and Distances:

 - Problems on angle of elevation and angle of depression.
