The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) successfully conducted the Mathematics Paper for students of Class 10 today, 15^th March 2024.

Question Paper Pattern

The paper had 80 marks, and students were expected to attempt it in two and a half hours. All questions in section A were compulsory, whereas in section B, students were expected to attempt only four questions out of seven. Each section carried 40 marks.

Board Paper Analysis:

Algebra, the largest unit, had the highest marks and the maximum number of questions. Mensuration and Trigonometry had the least number of questions. The distribution of marks was similar to that provided on the CISCE website.

The paper’s structure was precisely like the Maths Specimen Paper, and the difficulty level was similar. So, if the students had gone through the Specimen Paper provided by CISCE, they could have solved the questions.
