Feeling stressed or nervous about a particular situation is a normal thing, but if your anxiety persists for a longer time than needed, then it becomes a trouble for you. You can kick away the feeling of anxiety by closely monitoring your day-to-day activities.

Cut Short on the Foods that Induce Anxiety: Caffeine and sugar induce a good feeling when we consume them, but they also induce the feeling of anxiety. So, it is better to cut short on coffee, sugar and starch products.

Healthy Lifestyle: Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can go a long way. Instead of drinking coffee, you can have juices. It will make you healthy and help you in dealing with the feelings of anxiety as well. Food rich in anti-oxidants can decrease stress in the body.

Physical Activity is a Must: Physical activity is very important for your body. Exercise regularly or practice yoga. Yoga can keep your mind calm, thereby reducing the anxiety to a great extent. If you are not interested in exercise, then you should practice your favourite sports activity to keep you charged! Deep breathing exercises can also help a lot in relieving anxiety.

Adequate Sleep: Make sure you get adequate hours of sleep. Proper sleep can drive away anxiety easily.

Music: Music can be very soothing at times. If you feel anxious, you can switch on your favourite music and start listening to it. The feeling of anxiety will soon vanish.

Do Things that you Love: This will not only divert your mind, but it will also help you deal with the feeling of anxiety.

See the Doctor: If you think your anxiety levels have risen over time and nothing is working out, then it is time to see the doctor.
