Fun Snacks for Tiffin

Children can be fussy when it comes to finishing their tiffin boxes. Here, we list some great fun snacks for your child. Pack their tiffin with these fun snacks, and they will happily finish their tiffin.

Simple parathas do not impress children. Make parathas of different shapes and sizes to amuse your child. Prepare simple parathas, apply jam and roll them up in a foil. You can also substitute jam with healthy vegetables and sauce. Rolls are easier to eat, and so your child can easily finish lunch. You can also make sweet parathas which are usually liked by kids.

Healthy Chaat

Boiled chickpeas and kidney beans are high on fibre. You can add onion, tomato and chaat masala to the boiled beans and make a healthy chaat at home. The chaat flavour will definitely tempt your child to finish the tiffin.

Popcorn is another fun snacking item which you can add to your child’s tiffin. Make some flavoured popcorn and pack the tiffin. Your child will be happy with this snack at school.

Club Sandwiches

Simple plain sandwiches are now out of fashion. Make club sandwiches with alternate layers of cheese, salad, chutney and sauce.

Mini Idlis

Kids like cute stuff. Instead of making normal sized idlis, try and make small idlis. Small idlis look cute and children can easily eat them. Pack their favourite sauce or chutney with mini idlis.

Noodles with a Twist

Plain noodles are no more liked by children. Add some vegetables and flavoured sauce to make it tasty and presentable.

Fruit Wraps

Get some fresh blueberries, bananas, oranges and strawberries, add cheese and wrap them together in a chapatti or paratha. Fruit wraps are healthy and can keep your child full for a longer period of time.

Innovative Fruit Salad

You can be innovative with fruits like apple, pineapple, strawberry and watermelon. You can make Mickey Mouse pineapples, apple hearts or banana sandwiches. You will not even realise when the fruit salad is over.
