First-come, First-served Admission to Degree Courses in Pune
The Maharashtra Board has recently announced the results of the HSC.
The Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has recently announced the results of the higher secondary certificate (HSC, Class XII). Top colleges in Pune have said that there would be enough seats, and admission to their colleges will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
At Garware College, there are close to 15 undergraduate courses. Admission here will begin from 8 June by filling an online form. Seats will be allotted according to ranking.
This year, close to 11.29 lakh students passed the HSC exam in the state, and about 97,429 students achieved distinction, scoring 75% and above, a rise of 18,000 students from last year. At the same time, students scoring first class have also increased by 53,000 as compared to last year with 4.53 lakh scoring 60% and above.
While most colleges have an online application process, others still insist on the manual process of visiting the college and submitting the applications with all the required documents.
