CBSE to Grant Affiliation to Schools after Checking School Fee Structure

It is mandatory for schools to disclose their fee structure

Recently, CBSE has declared important changes to its affiliation laws. Now, it is mandatory for schools to disclose their fee structure. This measure is put in place to ensure that schools do not charge an extra fee from the students. If a school is found guilty of such offense, it may lose its affiliation.

The new changes introduced by CBSE also simplifies the application process to a great extent. It drastically cuts down the paperwork of 14 documents to just 2.

While speaking about these new changes, the Union HRD minister, Mr. Prakash Javedekar was heard mentioning that CBSE will soon start processing affiliation application with the NOC (no objection certificate) and self-sworn affidavit. He further said that the affidavit will serve as proof that the school is abiding by CBSE’s infrastructure and fee norms.
