CBSE to extend registration dates for IX & XI students

Recently, CBSE had announced that for the 2018-19 session, the Board will allow schools to register up to 45 students in each section. As per the existing guidelines, schools could only register up to 40 students in one class. This a temporary measure, and has been put in place because schools are facing problems with registering students for Class IX and XI.

To make life easier for students and school authorities, CBSE has now announced an extension on the last date for submission of registration data for Classes IX & XI without late fee. Earlier on, the last date was 22nd October. But now, students and school authorities will be given time till 30th October to finish off the registration process. This extension has been given by CBSE due to disruption in registration procedure on account of the Dussehra holidays and, also because of cyclone ‘Titli’ that has affected several states in India.
