CBSE Class 10 Term 1 2021 Post Paper Analysis- Social Science (30th November)

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 10 Term 1 exam for Social Sciences today. CBSE Class 10 exams for major papers start with the Social Science paper. The papers are scheduled between 1130 AM and 1 PM for 90 minutes. This time was selected considering winters.

As per students, the paper was an average, easy and balanced one. Some students felt that the exam was very competitive. Some students found the case-based questions a little tricky. It was evident from students' discussions that those who have thoroughly revised their NCERT syllabus must score ace marks. Some students also told us that the paper was moderate, wherein 90 minutes, they had to attempt 50 questions. Approximately 25-30 questions were easy, 15 seemed moderate, and the remaining basis was on HOTs.

In the provided sample paper section of the CBSE website, the CBSE Term 1 Social Science question paper contains four sections, A, B, C and D.

· Section A will hold 24 questions, of which any 20 questions will be required to answer.

· Section B will have 22 questions, of which 18 questions are to be answered.

· Section C holds 12 Case-based questions, and students need to answer any ten questions.

· Section D includes two map-based questions.

· All questions carry equal marks without any negative marking.

The format of the paper for CBSE Class 10 Term 1 exams is multiple-choice questions. CBSE class 10 exams will continue till 11th December.
