The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Mathematics exam for students of Class 10 today, 5th May 2022. Different question papers were given to the students who had chosen Basic and Standard Math. The exam was held between 10:30 am to 12:30 pm for all students.
The paper syllabus weightage was as follows

Question Paper Structure was as follows
1. The question paper consists of 14 questions divided into sections A, B, and C.
2. All questions are compulsory.
3. Section A comprises six questions of 2 marks each. Internal choice has been provided in two questions.
4. Section B comprises of four questions with 3 marks each. Internal choice has been provided in one question.
5. Section C comprises four questions of 4 marks each. An internal choice has been provided in one question. It contains two case study-based questions.
How was the paper?
According to a student, the paper was easy but lengthy. Anyone with the proper idea of the syllabus would be able to complete the paper on time. Now few questions were easy, but it was time-consuming to write step by step. All the questions were asked from the syllabus.
Most students think that the basic paper was balanced and manageable.
Now standard mathematics paper was in the easy to moderate difficulty level as affirmed by some students.
Also, experts share the same viewpoint and confirm that the paper was of average level but a bit lengthy, and it was on similar lines to the sample paper provided by the board earlier.

Overall, the Maths paper was lengthy, with some questions requiring more time to solve.
