As per the Central Board of Secondary Education, the CBSE class 10 English Board Exam 2024 had the English syllabus for the academic year 2023–2024 decreased by around 30%.   • Section A of the CBSE English board exam was crafted to assess the reading skills of the students and consisted of 2 questions covering a total of 20 marks. 
  • Section B of the English paper analysed the students' writing skills with grammar, holding a total of 20 marks. 
  • Lastly, the English Literature part was covered in section C for around 40 marks, including questions from textbooks. Hence, the overall paper included 11 questions for a total of 80 marks, and the time duration provided was 3 hours.
