AIPMT 2016 Exam Date Announced

The CBSE has released the examination date of the AIPMT

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the examination date of the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT). The exam is scheduled for 1 May 2016. The notification for the submission of online application will be issued in the third week of December 2015.

Last year, the exam was scheduled on 3 May 2015. The test however was cancelled by the Supreme Court because of the leak of the question paper across 10 states in the country.

Exam Pattern: The exam comprised 180 objective-based questions on Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

Previous Year Paper Analysis

Physics:
The section was a bit tough and difficult, had formulae and involved long and complicated calculations. 44.4% questions were from the Class 12 syllabus and 55.6% questions were from the Class 11 syllabus.

Chemistry:
The level of difficulty was average. Questions apart from NCERT books were also asked.

Biology:
The section was quite simple as it was heavily drawn from NCERT books.
