388 IIM Bangalore students placed in four days

The Indian Institute of Management - Bangalore seems to lead the way when it comes to recruitment. About 388 students from the institute have been placed with high salaries within four days of campus placements. Of the 388 students, nine have opted to work in the social sector..

Professor Sankarshan Basu, Chairperson, Career Development Services, said, "There is a rise of 10-15% from last year. The salary for this batch is about Rs 19.5 lakh."

Students had an opportunity to choose from sectors such as Consulting, Finance, Operations and Marketing.
