why methanol and water shows positive deviation as a methanol hydrogen bonding is present and water too have hydrogen bonded it should have a ideal solution and a homogeneous solution.why?explain in brief according to board level and with the help of example.

Methanol - methanol interactions are less than the methanol -methanol ineractions and water -water interactions.so it shows positive deviation.
