It is so as we can have a better understanding of our environment, assess the situation and decide .
For instance, if you had one ear on the left side and a... tiger, for instance crept up on your right, you would die, as would your species, your predator would find the weakness and kill off the entire species. If the ear was on the top of your head you would still hear from all angles.but  may get hurt.

(b) With the above property of ultrasound waves, Can ultrasonic waves be used in the medical field? If so, how and give one use in the medical field to justify your answer? (c) Give two practical applications of reflection of sound waves?
