why do objects at a considerable distance not appear nearer while using spectacles?

Concave lens is used to correct a myopic eye , and the image is formed behind the eye lens . This reduces the far point from infinity to a closer point. . This gives the myopic eye a vision similar to aperson with healthy vision/eye.
Sun or stars are as distant away to a myopic eye as to a defectless eye. so they appeer as they should at the astronomical distances.
