What will happen if DISORPTION OF PRODUCT do not takes place in case of HETEROGENOUS CATALYSIS ? Explain in detail.

Desorption is a release of product molecules from or through the surface of the substance.
Due to this active site become available for the new set of molecules to react.
If the product molecules do not desorb, active sites will be blocked and reactants will unable to move on the catalyst surface.
