Molarity = no of moles/ volume of solution in litre

Molality = no of moles/ weight of solvent in kg

The relationship between molarity and molality of a solution=

Molarity / molality = no of moles/ volume of solution in litre ÷  no of moles / weight of solvent in kg

=weight of solvent in kg÷volume of solution in litre
