Potential Energy |
Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by the body by virtue of its motion. |
The energy possessed by an object due to its position is called potential energy. |
K.E. = 1/2 mv2 |
P.E. = mgh |
Example: Moving arrow possesses kinetic energy. |
Example: Deformed bow possesses potential energy. |
