What is the difference between hypertonic solution , isotonic solution , hypotonic solution ?

1.Hypertonic solution: It is a type of solution which contains more solvent than solute.
2.Isotonic solution: A solution in which the solute and solvent have equal concentration.
3.Hypotonic solution: It is a type of solution which contains more solute than solvent.
With respect to the concentration,
1.If the medium surrounding the cell has exactly the same water concentration as that of the cell- isotonic solution
2.If the medium surrounding the cell has higher water concentration than that of the cell- hypotonic solution
3.If the medium surrounding the cell has lower water concentration than that of the cell- hypertomic solution
