Expert Answer:
If we keep our right hand parallel to the first vector of the cross-product (eg: A in A cross B). Such that the tip of the fingers point in the direction of the vector, annd fold our hand in a fist moving towards the second vector (B vector) then the direction of the thumb gives the direction of the resultant.
