what is linear momentum?

Expert Answer:

In simple terms linear mometum may be defined as the product of mass and the volocity....

                               p= m x  v

p--->momentum

m---->mass of the body

v---->velocity of the body

in an isolated system the vector sum of linear momentum of all bodies of the system is always conserved.
