vapour and gas

A substance which under ordinary conditions is a solid or a liquid but under specific conditions is gaseous is called vapour.
Example : Water vapour
When a substance exists as a gas under ordinary conditions i.e. at room temperature , it is termed as a gas.
Example : Oxygen gas
