the resultant of vector A and vector B IS perpendicular to vector A.What is the angle between vector A AND VECTOR b? is this type of questions important....??

Let vector A is drawn as OA and Vector B is drawn as OB in figure and the resultant OC is perpendicular to vector A.
 
as seen from figure, tanΦ = OC/OA
 
Hence tanθ = tan(180-Φ) = - tanΦ = -OC/OA  = - ( | A + B | ) / | A |
